1. Who we are
Akanova's Tech is a trading name used by Progress Akande Oluwademilade, an individual service provider based in Nigeria. Contact: akande@akanovastech.com.
2. Information you give us
When you use the contact form, the site prepares an email in your own email app. Nothing is sent until you send it, and the form itself does not store your details on this website. We receive what you choose to send, such as your name, email address and project details.
The FAQ assistant runs in your browser and does not send your messages to us. Its conversation is not stored by this website after the page session ends.
3. Information collected automatically
The hosting provider may process technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested in server logs for security and performance. Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
If hosting diagnostics are enabled, Lovable may receive technical error information, such as an error message, stack trace and the page path, to help diagnose failures. This is separate from the contact form and local FAQ conversation.
The site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated first. Technical processing needed to host and secure the site is separate from advertising tracking.
4. How we use information
We use information to reply to inquiries, prepare quotes, deliver and support projects, handle invoicing and keep business records. Technical information may also be used to keep the website secure and operating reliably.
5. Legal bases for UK, EU and EEA visitors
Depending on the activity, processing may rely on your consent, steps before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in running and securing the business or legal obligations. Where consent is the basis, you can withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
6. Sharing information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to operate, such as email, hosting and payment services including Remitly and banks, and project tools used with the client's agreement, or when required by law.
7. Client project data
Access to client accounts and systems is used only for the agreed project and kept confidential. Access is returned or removed at handover on request. NDAs are available on request. Please agree the scope and access requirements before sharing confidential project information.
8. International transfers
We work remotely with clients worldwide, so information may be processed outside your country, including in Nigeria and wherever agreed service providers operate. Reasonable safeguards are used, with any additional protections required by applicable law addressed for the relevant processing.
9. Retention
Inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period. Project and invoicing records are kept as long as needed for business, tax and legal purposes. Retention depends on the type of record and applicable obligations rather than one fixed period for every message.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and US state privacy laws such as California's, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to processing, obtain data portability and withdraw consent. These rights depend on the law and circumstances that apply to the processing.
Email akande@akanovastech.com to make a request. We respond within a reasonable time and as required by law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, for example the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
11. Children
The site and services are for businesses and adults, not for children under 16. Please do not send personal information about a child through the contact form.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information and processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Avoid sending passwords or unrelated sensitive details in an initial inquiry.
13. Changes to this policy
Updates are posted on this page with a new date. Contact akande@akanovastech.com with questions about the policy or how your information is handled.
